The candidate will be a member of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services under the leadership of Dr. Roland Schwarting. This growing department currently employs 32 pathologists and has a recently established (2024) Pathology residency program. Volumes have been steadily increasing by close to 8% year over year.
Cooper University Health Care has an exciting opportunity for a pathologist interested in joining a rapidly expanding Pathology service. The qualified candidate participates in case rotation, interdisciplinary conferences and consultations. In addition, the candidate participates in teaching medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
MD or DO degree with Pathology specialty.
Candidates with newly completed fellowships may be considered.
The candidate must be board-certified by the American Board of Pathology as an Anatomic Pathologist with specialty board certification preferred. (Clinical Pathology board certification is optional).
The candidate is expected to contribute to advancing scientific knowledge through active involvement in research.
